My studio turned into a Zoom classroom

Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, I have been teaching martial arts on Zoom since April, using my training space inside the art studio as a virtual classroom.

The “classroom” is about 3m x 4.5m

As all the non-essential shops were closed, I had to make use of whatever available at home. An old laptop placed on top of a printing press became my camera and microphone.

Sadly the art studio got squashed into the corner for now.

It has been an interesting and exciting experience though. Physical classes are geographically restricted, but so far, more than 110 people from 17 cities in 7 countries have attended my virtual classes. Where else could I meet and teach all these wonderful people?
