The philosophy behind this series is the same as the “Colours and Cultures” series – a celebration of the positive power of cultures and colours. The paintings have elements from different cultures. The main motif is a Xhosa woman with a pipe but the colour of her skin is not natural for any human races. Her outfit and the background are of Japanese and European designs.

「色と文化の融合」と同じコンセプトのシリーズ。伝えたいのは、文化と色のポジティブな力。モチーフはパイプを加え、赤ちゃんを背負い、ボロを身にまとったコサ族の女性。服と背景に日本とヨーロッパのデザインを使ってみた。
