Thank you, Zanta. The orangutan painting was commissioned by a Japanese lady who loves orangutans. The painting represents the lady and her three small children when she kicked her good-for-nothing husband out of the house and started her own business to support her family. A few decades later, she is a successful business woman and all her children left home, happily married. The painting is a reminder of her beginning as a struggling, independent woman and celebrates her achievements. The girl with the headscarf is a Tunisian (Berber). The painting was presented and sold at a group exhibition in Johannesburg. Masako
